Royston House is in Historic Washington State Park at 105 S.W. Water St. Restored and furnished in period with some original artifacts, the house dates from 1845. It was the home of Gen. Grandison D. Royston, who served in two of the state's constitutional conventions and in the Confederate Congress.
Admission to park free. Tour site tickets $9; $5 (ages 6-12). Surrey ride $8; $4 (ages 6-12). Sampler tour (choice of two buildings) $6; $3 (ages 6-12). Tickets must be purchased from the visitor center. Pricing may vary with special events.
Hours: Park open daily 8-5. Buildings are closed daily noon-12:30. Phone ahead to confirm schedule.
