Hampson Archeological Museum State Park is .2 mi. n. on US 61 at 2 Lake Dr. The museum displays Native American artifacts unearthed from the Nodena site on the Mississippi River. A farming-based civilization occupied the 15-acre palisaded village from about 1400 to 1600. Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted.
