AAA Editor Notes
Phoenix Police Museum is at 17 S. 2nd Ave. Exhibits include antique police cars, motorcycles, uniforms, guns and badges. The Miranda Rights features photos, a signed confession and other items relating to the case that changed the relationship between law enforcement and suspects in the United States and many places around the world. Other highlights include 1880s and 1930s jail cells, the city's first police helicopter bought in 1973 and a 1919 Ford Model T police car. A memorial room pays tribute to police officers killed in the line of duty.
