This is a great alternative to the crowded locations over by The Office.
Pros: Great, uncrowded beach.
Cons: Saw a few cockroaches.

Very Poor

The staff was very rude. Then, when we got to the room it was dirty and had cockroaches in it. There was noisy onsite construction going on that was not disclosed. I will never, ever recommend Solmar to anyone ever.
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: The rooms were dirty with cockroaches, the staff was rude and the pool was very far from the room. There was noisy onsite construction.

Wonderful

Pros: This hotel location is awesome right on the Pacific Ocean with spectacular views of the Rocky Hill behind and Playa Grande beach. The beach though beautiful is not suitable to swim but watching the waves was enough entertainment. It is clean and well kept
Cons: Although the location is wonderful, it is not suitable to go into the ocean most of the time due to dangerous rip currents. This is not Hotel's fault by any means. Sometimes there was some construction noise but it was not too bad.
