Orchid World & Tropical Flower Garden

Orchid World & Tropical Flower Garden is off Hwy. 3B between Gun Hill and St. John's Church. This 6-acre (2-hectare) site in the high rainfall sector of Barbados is said to contain more than 30,000 orchids. Paths wind through a lush tropical setting accented by vibrantly colored orchids, most of which are labeled. Assorted varieties are displayed in greenhouses, depending on growing conditions. Views of the surrounding countryside are punctuated by sugarcane fields.
