Osoyoos and District Museum & Archives

Osoyoos and District Museum & Archives is in Gyro Community Park at 19 Park Pl. The museum houses children's art from the Inkameep Day School Art Collection—art and photographs created 1931-43 under the guidance of Anthony Walsh, the teacher and principal who based his teaching on the importance of art in education.

The large range of exhibits also includes a butterfly collection, a Victorian parlor, native artifacts, pioneer and agricultural artifacts, military memorabilia, and an 1892 log building that served as a customs house, jail, school, residence and government office over the years.
