AAA Editor Notes
The Crystal Caves of Bermuda is at 8 Crystal Caves Rd. off Wilkinson Ave. on Bailey's Bay. Folklore says that two boys discovered the first cavern in 1905 while searching for a lost cricket ball. The main cave takes its name from the crystal-clear waters of its underground lake, which is 55 feet (17 m) deep. A second passage in the underground network, Fantasy Cave, features rare chandelier clusters of soda straw formations and calcite mineral deposits resembling frozen waterfalls.

The 81 steps in Crystal Cave might be difficult for some; benches are available for resting. Shoes with rubber soles are recommended.

Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
