AAA Editor Notes
Bermuda National Trust Museum at the Globe Hotel is at 32 Duke of York St. on King's Square. Housed in the old Globe Hotel, built 1698-1700 and used as a Confederate headquarters during the American Civil War, the museum chronicles the boom era of blockade running, when small steamships ran goods from St. George's to Confederate ports in the United States. A 12-minute video presentation gives an overview of Bermuda's history.
