Historic Tucker House Museum is at 5 Water St. The 1775 residence of Henry Tucker, president of Bermuda's Governor's Council, contains a collection of family silver, china and antiques. During the American Civil War, Joseph Rainey, a former slave from South Carolina and later the first Black member of the U.S. House of Representatives, operated a barbershop at the house.
