Bella Coola Valley Museum is just e. of jct. MacKenzie Hwy. and Bentinck Ave. at 269 Hwy. 20. The museum, in an 1892 heritage building, contains artifacts and interpretive exhibits about the Bella Coola Valley from the late 18th century, when Europeans first discovered the area's aboriginal people, to the mid-20th century. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.

Hours: Daily 9-noon and 1-5, early June-early Sept.
