Creston Museum is at 219 Devon St. via Hwy. 3A N. The 1952 Stone House, which has four stone fireplaces and walls more than one-third metre (1 ft.) thick, contains in excess of 10,000 pioneer and First Nations artifacts, including a Kutenai canoe and early agricultural tools. A schoolroom exhibit can be seen in the restored Kingsgate Schoolhouse on the museum grounds. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
