South Peace Historical Society Railway Station Museum is at 900 Alaska Ave. Artifacts, fossils and mounted animals and birds from the Peace River region are displayed. Highlights include an early 1900s railway caboose and a 1930s grain elevator as well as an art gallery and a video presentation about construction of the Alaska Highway.
Donations.
Hours: Daily 8-5:30, mid-May through Labour Day; Tues.-Sat. 10-4:30, day after Labour Day-Oct. 31; Mon.-Fri. 10-4:30, rest of year. Closed Jan. 1 and Good Friday. Phone ahead to confirm schedule.
