Quw'utsun' Cultural and Conference Centre is 1 blk. w. of Hwy. 1 at 200 Cowichan Way. The 2.4-hectare (6-acre) site consists of a living-history museum and a gallery dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of the culture of the Northwest Coast Indians. Exhibits include numerous totem poles and historical artifacts as well as the Comeakin longhouse and Khenipsen Carving House. Interpretive tours, traditional songs, dancing craft demonstrations and a film presentation also are featured.
