This lovely lodge-like hotel has spacious rooms with a warm appeal aided by ample lighting and solid-wood furniture. Many feature sofa beds or fireplaces and some have large desks and office chairs.
Smoke free premises. 95 units, some efficiencies. 3 stories, interior corridors.
Pros: Easy check-in - staff moved us to another room with less traffic (elevator) and a better view of the mountains, which was unexpected and very appreciated. The breakfast in the a.m. Was well appointed for almost everyone's taste.

Enjoyed the stay
Pros: I was impressed by the front desk staff and how quickly the check in was handled. Our room was nice and cool upon entering. The bed and linens were very clean and inviting. The facility was quiet . Breakfast in the morning BEST hot breakfast we have had at a hotel in a long time .

Short stay in Fernie
Pros: The location in Fernie is good.....bed and pillows are comfortable. Close to nearby lake for an early morning walk around... There was a nice pool and jacuzzi plus an outdoor jacuzzi...coffee in the lobby all day long. Easy to check in and out.
Cons: The eggs tasted like cardboard - nice little breakfast nook but not very appetizing.

Overall I would definitely stay...
Pros: very clean facilities.
Had a pedicure with Amore and a massage with Katrina. Both were extremely friendly and services were great!
Breakfast was phenomenal offering so much more than your average continental breakfast.
Cons: I left a pair of earings on the bathroom counter and unfortunately the cleaning staff did not turn them in to the front desk:(

Pros: The fireplace in the room was nice. Amenities are close by. Friendly staff. Morning breakfast.
Cons: Not a very good value. Small rooms. Perhaps it was just the week we picked. The common lounge at the front is awkward as the automatic door opens and blows cold air in. There is no good common spot for larger groups to sit and visit. The outdoor hottub is very small. Funny how some ski community hotels have such small hot tubs? In my view, the hot tub is the best thing at the end of the day.

Pros: The breakfast served was excellent, the room had a fireplace in it and the whole place was very clean. The room had a lot of space and the beds were quite comfortable, the shower was hot and stayed hot.
Cons: The entrance has two doors, the outside is an automatic sliding door, the interior door requires you to pull when entering, with the handicap button not easily accessible. It would just make more sense to have two sliding doors. I'm just nit picking, but it was awkward trying to walk in with your gear bags.
