Kilby Historic Site is 1.6 km (.9 mi.) s. of Hwy. 7 at 215 Kilby Rd. Costumed interpreters conduct tours of this 2-hectare (5-acre) living-history site, once the heart of a thriving community of lumber mills. The 1906 General Store contains forgotten foodstuffs, a wood stove and the traditional checkerboard. Other highlights include the Manchester House Hotel and Post Office and friendly farm animals at the working Waterloo Farm.
Camping is permitted. Food is available.
