Kilby Historic Site is 1.6 km (.9 mi.) s. of Hwy. 7 at 215 Kilby Rd. Costumed interpreters conduct tours of this 2-hectare (5-acre) living-history site, once the heart of a thriving community of lumber mills. The 1906 General Store contains forgotten foodstuffs, a wood stove and the traditional checkerboard. Other highlights include the Heritage Post Office, the Manchester House Hotel and animals of the Waterloo Farm.
Camping is permitted. Food is available.
