Pros: The waterslide was a big hit with our 6 and 9 year old. If it wasn't for the power failure shutting it down they would have never gotten off.
Cons: The power went out due to a storm but all in all our stay was good. It would have been nice to have breakfast included at the price we paid.

Pros: The competency of the staff is questionable, I.e. a simple power outage resulted in the staff being overwhelmed.
Cons: The staff.

Pros: The desk attendant was as accommodating as he could be under the circumstances that our booked room was not available upon check in. Waitress at breakfast was polite and cheerful. Breakfast was lovely.
Cons: We called ahead the day of our booking (July 29th) to confirm our room details (2 queens) and advise that we would be checking in late b/c of travel from northern Alberta-at which we were told that she had made a note in our reservation and that a late check in was no problem. We were upset to find that after driving 10 hours, that our previously confirmed room was not available due to "overbooking" and the only availability was a king room (1 bed). We never did get a straight answer as to why our booking was given away/not available. Our kids had to sleep on the floor after a long days drive, as there were no cots left available. The desk attendant was kind enough to gather bedding and pillows so they could try and make a comfortable bed on the floor, but it definitely was not ideal and more than frustrating after we had confirmed our booking details.
