AAA Editor Notes
Marble Canyon is on Hwy. 93 at the northern end of Kootenay National Park and close to the Alberta border. The walls of marble-like gray limestone make this one of the most beautiful canyons in the Rockies. Tokumm Creek has cut a sheer, narrow cleft to the depth of about 40 metres (130 ft.). A self-guiding trail follows the top edge of the canyon and leads to a waterfall. Interpretive signs describe the power of water in shaping the canyon's features.

Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
