Miyazaki House is at 642 Russell Ln., near jct. Main St. and 6th Ave., following signs. Originally owned by Caspar and Cerise Phair, the late 19th-century house was built in the same architectural style as Mrs. Phair’s family home in Ireland. In the 1940s Dr. Masajiro Miyazaki and his family purchased the house. Visitors will learn about this family’s history, including a period when the doctor treated residents of a local Japanese internment camp.
Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
