AAA Editor Notes
Moricetown Canyon is off Hwy. 16 and Telkawa High Rd. The Bulkley River plunges through this narrow gorge in a series of waterfalls. The canyon was vital to native tribes, whose diet depended on salmon. Visitors can view fish ladders that help five species of salmon reach their annual spawning grounds. During the summer Wet'suwet'en First Nation still can be seen gaffing salmon as the fish fight their way upstream.
