AAA Inspector Notes
Inspector Pick (Eclectic/Unusual): Perched out over the water, it's like being on a river cruise without ever getting on a boat, especially in one of the many balcony rooms.
Next to the public market, and resting on pillars that stretch out over the Fraser River, this hotel has rooms with wonderful views. They have a delightful design with a modern, blue and violet motif. Less than a 10-minute walk along the boardwalk, you can find the Westminster Pier Park, which has picnic areas and various activities, including sand volleyball courts, a small water-spray park and kiddie playgrounds. Smoke free premises. 126 units. 9 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Right at the quay, nice to walk the boardwalk along the waterfront and that it goes beyond the stores. Lovely flowers. peaceful.
Cons: Our room was directly across from the bar, which was pretty lively (Sat. night). And the fact that the train was right there interrupted our sleep. We could hear toilets flush along with other noises, but that's quite typical for hotels.

Pros: The bed was very comfortable. Balcony overlooking the boardwalk and the river was a great place to relax.
Cons: Elevator from parking was being upgraded so had to carry luggage up the stairs. Overall, not a big deal and only temporary.
