AAA Inspector Notes
Inspector Pick (Pool): Perched on the edge of a bluff overlooking the bay, these tranquil warm mineral pools are my idea of a perfect place to spend a summer afternoon.
This outstanding seaside property whisks you back to the days of grand elegant hotels while offering all the modern conveniences of today. Many rooms offer spacious decks or patios. During the off season, each Tuesday night is movie night complete with gourmet popcorn. The hot mineral pools overlooking the sea and full service spa are worth the visit. The location is far enough from the hustle and bustle of Victoria, yet close enough to enjoy the sights. Smoke free premises. 100 units, some efficiencies and kitchens. 8 stories, interior corridors.

Mostly it was just very...
Pros: We actually became quite sick with the flu when we were there, so I'm not really an objective responder. The service was very good though.
Cons: The two bedside lamps were useless (well, maybe if you were having a romantic getaway they would be nice) for any kind of reading. Even if we weren't sick, we like to read in bed, and you just can't unless you put the top light on, which isn't nice to do. Also the telephone/clock was terrible. We couldn't here, and you couldn't put the volume up. It wasn't just us, because the people we spoke to kept asking if we couldn't speak up - they couldn't hear us either.
