Pros: The guy who drove the shuttle on Friday and Saturday. The staff at the pools. The pools and lounging area.
Cons: The televisions need to be sorted out. No pay per view and listings that go back to March 2000. Poor service trying to get something done on that. They were also dishonest about the shuttle on Sunday. They told us twice that it was booked, when in fact they did not have enough staff to run it. Katie's Café is really slow and coffee not good. Service in Snug Pub really slow and service not good. Food was so-so.

Pros: Nice and comfortable rooms
Cons: Families with children, also teenagers, can only have dinner in a small and separated area. If we would have known this in advance, we would not have made a reservation on this hotel.

Pros: On a sunny day: Enjoy the best salmon sandwich at the Pool area you can get for money - see Orcas passing by in front of the snow cover mountains- relax in the pool till sunset . Then have a stroll in the charming part of Victoria : Oak Bay! The suites /rooms for four are wonderful and stylish.
Cons: (hardly worth mentioning - but still: it might happen that enjoying your first day at the Pool might be delayed for some hours for reasons of 'house policy' since you might not be allowed to the pool area without the key card - and you don't get the key card as long as the room is not ready. Therefore we had lunch in the lobby instead of having lunch at the sea shore/pool area. Once you get to the Pool area anything is bliss - the service there and the excellent salmon sandwich and desserts. Noteworthy is as well the concierge service- have them book the whale watch tour for you-it is fantastic!)
