Pros: We arrived in Vancouver at 7am! Check in wasn't until 4pm so was abit stuck on what to do as never been to the area before! Decided to use the shuttle service to take us to the hotel and see our options, great staff on reception desk that told us he would have a room ready for us asap and in the meantime to take some breakfast if we like and that they also have a Costco card if we still need to kill time to have a browse in there. ( located right oppersite hotel) as a result we had breakfast and the room was ready for us at 12 so honestly couldn't be happier!

Cons: There were no king beds available when booking so we took a queen bed with double sofa bed. The room was extremely small and cramped, with terrible lighting. The bed was tucked in an alcove that barely allowed room to get into bed. The sofa bed was in an adjacent alcove with one very dim light high on a wall. There were no accessible electrical outlets to plug in electronics, without unplugging the clock. We also both use CPAP machines so one of us had to sleep without it. Price for the room was too high for the poor size of the room.

Pros: Breakfast was good. Nice to have something warm with eggs for a change from the usual continental breakfast. Bed was very comfy and I love how easy it is to get to the airport from the hotel, just 6 minutes drive, in a straight line! Also love the fact that there's a free shuttle to and from the airport.
Cons: Although staff are very friendly, the lady showing us nice places to go on the map kept drawing over the street names with a thick sharpie, which made reading those names impossible! Wanted to give feedback to the lady herself but never got a chance. Lovely girl though.
Also, something really odd was that the coffee maker with all the coffee and sugar...etc was in the washroom!!!!!! How gross :S....We moved it to the main room to make the coffee in the morning....Also the priced is super high for very little. No fridge and parking is only free if you get a membership. The membership is free, so do it if you want free parking!
Another slight negative is that it's far from any attraction. No parks or lakes or malls close by. Nothing much in walking distance. Had to drive places to pass the time, although we did walk across the street to Costco and spent some time there walking around!

Cons: Had to change rooms due to toilet not being flushed upon arrival and found out it was due to flushing problem. This should have been noticed by cleaning staff. While staff were prompt in changing room to another one, upon taking shoes off during unpacking the carpeting was very wet in large spots. My sister and I then realized what the odour was when we entered room...it was obvious it was pet/cat urine. We declined another room offer due to being tired/hungry. Hotel should include an option for "pet free" due to allergies similar to "smoke free".
TV was very outdated with useless remote control. Also, the constant back-up alarms from Costco trucks at their adjacent parking lot woke us up at 5:30 AM. We had requested a "QUIET" room!
Front desk personnel had adjusted our bill by $50 for the pet urine but we did not know about the parking lot noise alarms caused by Costco trucks until the next morning.
Photos would not pick up/confirm wet carpets.
