Huble Homestead Historic Site is 38 km (24 mi.) n. on Hwy. 97, then 6 km (4 mi.) e. on Mitchell Rd. The site features several replicas of historic buildings as well as the original home of Al and Annie Huble. Along with his business partner Ed Seebach, Huble was instrumental in establishing a community within the Giscome Portage area. The homestead also offers weekend special events that feature demonstrations, live entertainment, games and contests. Guided tours are available. Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
