The Pacific Museum of the Earth is just off the West Mall of the university on the main floor of the Earth and Ocean Science Building at 6339 Stores Rd. A highlight of the 30,000-piece mineral and fossil collection is an 80 million-year-old Lambeosaurus dinosaur. Also featured are a 2-metre-long (7-ft.) amethyst tube, a large sedimentary structure and the OmniGlobe, a spherical interactive display with real-time information. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
