Vancouver Aquarium is at 845 Avison Way. Visitors are greeted by “Chief of the Undersea World,” a bronze sculpture by Haida artist Bill Reid. The center is home to more than 60,000 marine animals, with emphasis on such diverse habitats as the Canadian Arctic, the Amazon Rainforest and the Pacific Northwest. Sharks, moray eels and colorful fish populate The Tropics, while interactive multimedia displays in the Arctic exhibit allow visitors to meet the people of this region and learn about the effects and impact of climate change on the area's marine life.

Walk the BC Hydro Salmon Stream in Stanley Park to learn about a salmon's incredible life journey. Other highlights include daily shark dives and sea otter feedings as well as exhibits that feature sea lions and harbor seals.
