If you can afford it,...
Pros: While in town, my daughter got sick and we needed to stay an extra night in Vancouver. We decided on the Rim so we could have a place where she could recuperate and we would be sure of having an excellent space to do that in. The staff took extra great care of us. We were pampered and looked after, had an incredible room and fabulous meals, and felt very grateful to be able to stay there.

Pros: The room was very nice and very quiet. The view was great.
Cons: I would like to have paid less money but beyond that I have absolutely no complaints about any part of our experience with the hotel and the staff.

Amazing Property!
Pros: It's an amazing property - the King Suite was very spacious (much needed for traveling with a young child), the amenities are great and the staff are very attentive.
Cons: The location relative to downtown Vancouver isn't the greatest. With the exception of a smattering of shops around Canada Place the main shopping / dining areas are at least a 5 min drive. Stanley Park is nearby so I guess that's a plus.

Free internet...Not!
Pros: Gym included.
Cons: Internet wasnt included. Isn't a room rate of $500 enough? How come low end properties include Internet access and you cant? That is a real sore spot for me it as it ruins the entire checkout experience. Note: I didn't pay for Internet because your system was down but I would have been disappointed had I had to pay. I hope you get my drift?
