Pros: Good location. Close to downtown and train. ALSO- Cleaning staff left dirty rags behind one day. Hairs in tub when we arrived. Fan in bathroom didn't work.
Cons: I paid extra for a room with a "city view." Pictures on website showed views with water and BC Place. We couldn't see either from 14th floor. The manager told me a city view was subjective. UPDATE YOUR PICTURES SINCE A CONDO HAS BLOCKED MOST DECENT VIEWS!

Good mid-budget hotel, close to...
Pros: Beds were very comfortable, comparable to other upmarket hotels. Excellent location for hospital access or other medical practices in the area. Bonus - a swimming pool and a small exercise room with an OK selection of free weights. Shower over bath but otherwise reasonably nice & modern bathroom. Overall a decent mid-range hotel for a reasonable price.
Cons: Decor of halls and rooms feels very 80s (brown & beige) - making the otherwise comfortable hotel feel somewhat dated (in contrast with the reception area). No kettle in the room but then if you're a tea drinker in Vancouver(or even Canada?) it appears you'll be challenged for a decent cuppa in any hotel anyway (bad tea brands, no milk or even UHT). I suspect that the sound proofing between the rooms may not be the best - I could hear muffled speech from the room adjacent at times.
