AAA Inspector Notes
This place is very popular and boisterous, as all the staff shouts a Japanese welcome to new patrons, and orders are often fired off to the cooks behind the counter the same way. It's not typical Japanese food, as you can't get any sushi. Instead, the menu features izakaya dishes, a Japanese variation on tapas, with interesting concoctions like oysters baked with creamy cod roe mayo topped with cheese, or deep-fried squid and cabbage pancakes. The price-to-portion ratio makes fantastic value.
