Don't get me wrong; the food is amazing. But I've also had some of the best cocktails ever here. Think fresh ginger daiquiris and you get the idea.

The food is truly inspirational as are the excellent libations from the bar. Capable servers can help you navigate the creative menu which changes often. Examples like baked Pacific oysters with Burgundy truffle and light as air whipped garlic butter, or local quail with foie gras give you an idea of the quality. In a building which housed Vancouver's first jail, the space reflects a chic, industrial design. The vibe is casual and lively with seating either in the upstairs loft area or a glass-enclosed patio at the back.
