AAA Editor Notes
Alameda Museum, 2324 Alameda Ave., displays memorabilia associated with the city. Displays include Victorian-era furnishings; American Indian artifacts; model ships and trains; toys and unusual bicycles; and exhibits about the fire department and Neptune Beach. A small exhibit is devoted to comedienne Phyllis Diller, who lived in Alameda in the mid-1950s while working at KSFO radio in San Francisco. An art gallery features changing exhibits by local groups.
