Placer County Museum & Courthouse

Placer County Museum & Courthouse, in the courthouse at 101 Maple St., features a Native American habitat with a recorded narration and a 10-minute video presentation about the history of the transcontinental highway that runs through the county. Also inside the 1898 courthouse is a restored sheriff's office circa 1900 and the Pate Collection of American Indian Artifacts.
