Pros: The ambience, the decor, and the staff. Having never traveled to Bakersfield before, I felt like I had found a jewel of a place to stay in route to a destination further north. Truly top notch, I felt "well taken care of".

Pros: Everything! The room was beautiful, the bed was so comfortable, the sit-in shower was relaxing, the staff were friendly and helpful. Prices at the bar and restaurant weren't bad and the hotel is walking distance to a few restaurants.
Cons: Valet price isn't bad, but pet fee is crazy if you only stay a night.

Pros: Beds were excellent, and room decor and bathroom nicely designed
Cons: The smell of roasted meet fills hallways on every floor and lobby as it seems restaurant grill vents into hotel. Not an objection all smell for carnivores but was a bit overwhelming at times.
