Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (BAMPFA) is downtown at 2155 Center St. The collection at the Berkeley Art Museum comprises more than 19,000 works of art and 17,500 films and videos. Representing a diversity of global cultures and historical periods, the art collection has particular strengths in Asian, modern and international contemporary art. The theater at the Pacific Film Archive Library & Film Study Center, located within the art museum, screens a variety of classic, international and avant-garde films throughout the year. Food is available.
Galleries $12; $10 (ages 65+, non-UC Berkeley students with ID and the physically impaired); free (UC Berkeley students, faculty and staff and also ages 0-18 plus one adult). Theater admission $12; $8 (ages 0-18 and 65+, UC Berkeley faculty and staff members, non-UC Berkeley students with ID and the physically impaired); $7 (UC Berkeley students); $5 (additional feature).
