Habitot Children's Museum is downtown at 2065 Kittredge St.; there are entrances on both Kittredge St. and Shattuck Ave. This hands-on museum geared toward children 7 and under has themed exhibits where infants, toddlers and small children can learn while they play. Kids can float a ball down a stream, get messy in the art studio, shop in a grocery, order and serve food at a café, and maneuver through a floor-to-ceiling tunnel-like maze.

Admission Fri.-Sun. $12; $11 (ages 60+ and the physically impaired); free (ages 0-12 months). Admission Mon.-Thurs. $10; $9 (ages 60+ and the physically impaired); free (ages 0-12 months).
