Pros: The hospitality was exceptional... all of our needs were met or exceeded! Our hostess, Kate, took very good care of us.
Cons: The individual cottages are darling, with lots of comforts & attention to detail! The location was closer to the main highway than I had imagined, so a bit noisy at times. I had anticipated being tucked into the woods, with a hillsuse view.
Pros: Location was pretty good - near the north end of Napa Valley, but only 15 min. from St. Helena.
Cons: Things were a bit old, and the breakfast was...well...less than a sterling example of great baking.
Pros: We really liked Kate as the innkeeper. She made us feel really welcome and even treated us to some fresh food from her garden!!
Cons: Too much traffic noise while enjoying our wine and snacks on the porch.
Pros: The innkeeper is very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The guy "mowing" the weeds and kicking up a lot of dust.
Pros: Cozy cottage!! Owner was-wonderful. She was extremely helpful and welcoming. We will stay here again.
Pros: The cottage is cozy and clean. Kate is very hospitality.
Cons: The wifi is weak.
Pros: Great staff and comfortable quiet cottage. Very comfortable bed and nice light breakfast with fresh baked pastries.
Cons: A bit of a walk to town, but free shuttle passes provided.
Pros: Very nice comfort and many extra nice touches. Classy.
Cons: Outside light shining into bedroom all night was very annoying and distracting for getting to sleep.
Pros: Kate was awesome and gracious.
Pros: Ooooo, the most comfortable bed and pillows ever. The location is just outside of central Calistoga in a pretty woodland setting. Nice big shower stall with good toiletries and rain shower fixture. Staff was nice to retrieve and return to us in person the watch we had left in the room.
Cons: The price was quite a bit lower on the hotel website than on Booking.com. Too bad I had not compared before making the reservation.
Continental breakfast was good but an addition of an item with protein would have been ideal. Not complaining, though. Good place with high quality amenities.
