Pros: I enjoyed the beautiful property with access to hiking trails. i enjoyed the nearly empty adult pool at River Ranch. Perks of staying weekdays. I appreciated Rodney Morrow who popped out of nowhere after my check in and took his time to point out some areas and info. We loved the Bee Experience which went beyond just telling us what bees do. The rooms were spacious.
Cons: Upon arrival, i noticed there was no formal desk area to check in. Not sure where to go,i stood there and watched employees walk up and greet other guests who walked in after i did. No one saw me wondering where to go? i finally asked someone at a desk in the corner and they acted surprise that i was checking in. not a good first impression for a place that i was expecting to feel like a VIP. My view was not what i expected and the place was fully booked to move us. I thought that all 1100 sq. ft. premium view rooms had excellent views of the property and valley. oh well.
