Chester-Lake Almanor Museum

Chester-Lake Almanor Museum is at 210 First Ave. at jct. Willow St., inside the log building also housing the library. In a rustic 1929 building, the museum features photographs tracing the history of the Lake Almanor basin, with many about dairy farming, logging and gold mining. The museum also has a collection of Maidu Indian basketry.
