Raymond M. Alf Museum of Paleontology is at 1175 W. Baseline Rd. The museum's Hall of Life traces the history of life on Earth through exhibits and a fossil touch table. Highlights include fossils of ancient sea life, among them trilobites and crinoids; skeletal casts of the dinosaurs Allosaurus and Centrosaurus; dinosaur eggs; a cast of a T. rex skull; a giant alligator skull from the Amazon; and a large collection of North American mammal fossils.

The Hall of Footprints is purportedly the largest, most diverse collection of fossil animal footprints on display in North America. Exhibits include tracks of ancient camels, dinosaurs, spiders and reptiles. There are interactive exhibits and a children’s activity area with both a dig pit and rubber stamps of animal footprints available.
