The Museum of the San Ramon Valley is at 205 Railroad Ave. at jct. W. Prospect Ave. The museum, in Danville's historic 1891 Southern Pacific depot, documents the history of the San Ramon Valley with displays and artifacts relating to its Native American, farming and pioneer past. A frieze that wraps around the main exhibit room provides scenes from area history. Temporary exhibits complement the museum's historical theme. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
