Poor, I wouldn't return
Pros:
Cons: They charge more for items for the room like clean towels and etc. They only bring clean towels every three days , they don't clean room or make beds daily. Food wasn't good.

Very good
Pros: The hotel was pleasant enough, clean and quiet. It is close to the old town and convenient to walk around.
Cons: The town of Eureka is pretty run down and there are a lot of homeless and transient people. It didn't feel save walking around the hotel at night.

Pros: I loved the registration clerk at check-in! She called us the morning before, as we were traveling to Eureka, to confirm our arrival time, and welcome/thank us for staying with the Quality Inn. She had a very bright compassionate, caring attitude and personality, both during the telephone conversation, and then again, while she checked us in! I was saddened because likely the training that brought me to this city, kept me super busy, and I did not see her again. It might be appropro to put her into the limelight, throughout her work week, as she is definitely one of the bigger assets of the company. Likewise, the lady that worked the morning of our departure was also very friendly, and hospitable. Both were great assets for your hotel. Hopefully, they are being rightly compensated for their amazing hospitality. The rooms, while not perfectly clean, were very comfortable. I loved the fact that there were hardwood floors, rather than carpeting, which for me, felt more sanitary and clean. Sis said the bed was hard for her liking, but then, she also has severe lower back problems. Once I could finally get into bed, I was so tired that any mattress would have felt good. And thank you for the amazing in-room refrigerator and microwave. Had I enough time during our stay, I felt I could have done away with eating out. The accommodations in that area were awesome.
Cons: Unfortunately the two men I spoke with in the evenings of our stay, were not of the same hospitable caliber. They were rude and abrupt on every occasion I spoke with them. Of course, I had already been spoiled by the other precious lady. Another thing that was difficult, was that all of the guests (3 total) that I made reservations for are cigarette smokers. While I understand and appreciate the value of non-smoking rooms, I did not recognize that we would be required to smoke off of the property. Normally, this wouldn't have bothered me as much as it did, however walking out onto the sidewalk at various times of the day and night, was unsettling due to the local pimps and hookers that laced the street directly at the hotel doors, entrances, driveways, and parking areas. I did not feel safe. My boss was propositioned by one of the women, and unsavory remarks were in abundance toward me and my sister throughout our stay. Perhaps an outdoor smoking section someone on the property, would give your guests a bit more feeling of safety and security, along with comfortability. In addition, I was somewhat dismayed to learn that I could not take my breakfast on the road with me, and so that was a loss because I got little use out of the breakfast room during our four-day stay. The in-tub Jacuzzis should be removed since they do not work properly, because even if it not advertised, it is misleading upon check-in. As well, the pool is advertised, and it was dirty for the first three days after check-in, and only after check-in, did we learn that the pool is only available 2 months out of the year.
