Ideal location as it is convenient to the bay area as well as the gateway to Napa and its many wineries and restaurants; guest rooms are spacious.

My stay was wonderful and...
Pros: Everything was wonderful very clean
This will be fabulous when...
Pros: Our room had been recently renovated and was beautiful. Bed very comfortable. Staff very gracious.
Cons: Bathroom fan wasn't replaced very loud, sounds like train, I mentioned it after complimenting the room decor.
Incredibly wonderful end to a...
Pros: I needed to stop for the night while driving from Santa Cruz to Roseville, CA. I left too late and by 8:30pm I knew I needed to stop for the night. I pulled off the freeway and used the booking.com app to locate the La Quinta Inn they had a room at a great price and they accepted dogs. After I booked online I called to see if I could get a ground floor room to make it easier on taking my senior dog out for potty walks. The reception gal was very helpful and showed so much kindness in her voice! I was tired and frazzled and she said there was no ground floor room available but she would put me on a waiting list. One of the greatest features was NO CHARGE for dogs!! An unheard of perk. When I arrived about 45 minutes later the same wonderful angel personcheckedme in and said there had been a recent request by a guest to switch from a ground floor room to an upper story. Adding to my joy was that the room was at the end of the hallway right near a side door that led out to the parking lot right where my car was parked. An absolute god send also could get my dog in and out easily without using the front lobby. It gets even better. The room itself was perfect : clean, attractive, quiet, very comfortable bed, great mini bar area with a fridge, microwave, and small coffeemaker.
Cons: It's a very small complaint but it would have been nice to have bottled water available in the breakfast room.
Great location but skip the...
Pros: Nicely appointed facility with a good location. Very accessible from the highway exit, but set in a quiet location.
Cons: A barking dog in the hallway at 6:00 a.m. Continental breakfast was poor at best. Any staff that is trained to add water to dilute a bottle of Tropicana Orange Juice is very poorly trained and there were few other options for breakfast except for cheap sweetened cereals - not good
Pros: the room was clean and the staff was friendly
Cons: under construction kind of noisy....should have discounted the rate!
Pros: Staff was polite, facility was clean, room was clean and very comfortable. Would not hesitate to stay again or refer others to this site
Clean and Confusing.
Pros: I liked the rooms. They were clean and updated. The staff was friendly. There was a neat little pizza place that was close. The location to the interstate was great.
Cons: There were men hanging right at the entrance of the hotel and they were smoking and drinking beer. It was scary. They hung around inside at the large table every day we were there. There was a man grilling in the parking lot. It was strange. I felt the people hanging around the hotel and the decor of the hotel didn't match. The breakfast area had large exercise equipment in it. I think they are remodeling at this time. I saw a lady filling a Tropicana orange juice bottle with drinking fountain water. It was served for breakfast.
Not very nice.
Pros: The staff was. Nice
Cons: The place was being remodeled.and we werenot informed of thisodeled.ior to our reservation the stay ther was not pleasant due to construction. And the room was quit expensive. For the accomodations. It would have been nice to be informed that the place was being remodeled.
friendly staff - clean,comfortable,quiet rooms...
Pros: staff very friendly -although under construction, the 3rd floor was completed and the rooms were very clean - liked the colors picked - will be especially nice when 1st & 2nd floors are also completed-nice and quiet- breakfast included was a nice perk
I will stay there again
Pros: clean room and bathroom. Good costumer service.
Okay place to stay
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Dirty comforter and under construction at the time of my stay
Pros: The room was spacious and the location was fine.
Cons: It was undergoing MAJOR renovations and we were not informed in advance. The front desk staff was surly and not at all helpful!! We would NOT stay here again!
Pros: I liked the location.
Cons: The bathroom was full of pubic hair, the room was dirty. The entire hotel carpets were extremely dirty.
I wasn't advise ahead of time that the hotel was under construction and had loud music on the hall since 8:00AM.
When I complained about the pubic hairs to an employee, the employee didn't even offer a discount.
I requested 2 pillows and a blanket in advance. Request was ignored.
Cons: They are In the middle of remodeling and my room was very worn and dirty appearance from being used a lot. . Afraid of carpet and stains on my bed skirt. Top of bed was ok and I actually slept good but was trying to get through the night. The remodeled room looked nice I prefer the Marriott across the street.
Great value, great location.
Pros: My husband and I were traveling to the wine country. The value of lodging in Fairfield was so much better than in Napa and the drive was only about 15 min. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was helpful and courteous. We would stay there again.
Cons: The water in the shower could have been hotter.
Pros: The bedroom is beautiful. Renewed. Comfortable.
Cons: Internet didn't work.
Excellent option for wine country...
Pros: Believe we were the first to stay in a totally remodeled room -- part of an overall refurb of the hotel. So new the packing tape had not been removed from mini-fridge, TV, etc. A 25 minute drive from Sonoma Raceway, but very reasonable rates -- especially compared to the race weekend rates in Sonoma.
Cons: No bad experiences, but the front desk staff could be more personable.
