Pros: Amazing staff, sport wall to pebble beach, felt like home but with better breakfast :)
Pros: Country Inn B&B was "forced relaxation" for us...no TV, radio, or newspapers...and, in this go go go world, it was a welcome respite. Breakfast was amazing. Stuffed French toast with a nectarine caramel sauce, sausage links, and FRESH eggs made to order (there's a hen house in back). If we travel to Fort Bragg again, we will definitely stay at Country Inn B&B.
Pros: We really enjoyed ourselves. Nothing was over the top, everything was a pleasant surprise. I really liked the room with the antique chairs, the fireplace, the wallpaper, the wooden double hung Windows and the hot water and good pressure in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and not too soft. It was like staying at a favorite aunt's home and it was great to have a cuppa whenever we wanted. I was pleased to see the publicly available microwave and fridge- although we didn't use either. We did avail ourselves of the free cookies and the hot tub , which was very pleasant Breakfast was really wonderful, not crazy extravagant nor a roll and cereal. The eggs were so fresh they were practically insulting, and perfectly scrambled. The pancakes mouthwatering and fluffy, the fruit fresh and flavorful. My husband is a vegetarian so I got double the chicken Apple sausages which were delicious as well. My only regret being that it was served in such a generous portion I couldn't quite finish it all. Our hosts were attentive yet relaxed and unobtrusive. The owners' corgi, Rhyli, is enthusiastic and friendly and though he mainly staffs the office he came out to visit too.
Cons: I can't really say there was anything I didn't like. I would be back here if I came again and I would try staying in all the different rooms. Maybe a gas powered heater would be a good upgrade for the hottub and one of the globe shaped light strings near the tub is on its last legs. Pretty minor stuff. This place was great.
Pros: Breakfast was great, inn very beautiful and cared for. Treats were great as well as location.
Pros: A wonderful breakfast every morning. Very close to the beach and town. Very cute B&B. I felt very welcome.
Cons: Nothing. It was great!!
Pros: Host is very friendly and gives good info about the town and events. Food very good.
Cons: Can hear sound from other room.
Pros: A lovely warm welcome when we arrived. Hot tub was a nice bonus too. The location is great.
Pros: Noisy highway masked by having a rear bedroom; not sure what another room toward the front would be like. Clean. pleasant ambiance and good chocolate cookies!
Pros: Privacy. Quiet Enjoyed the property especially seeing the chickens
Pros: It is in the middle of town not to far from the ocean about a 10 minute walk.
Cons: You can hear a lot of noise from your room and the hot water was warm at best.
Pros: I am a fan of B&B mystery novels but never stayed at a B&B. My stay at the Country Inn was perfect.... Cold, dark, rainy night in late November.... But my welcome and my room were as warm and cozy as could be. Breakfasts were 5-star and I could have been tempted to stay longer to see what would be served the next day! I will be back! So it was just as I had imagined a B&B to be like except without the mystery and dead bodies.
Cons: There was nothing to find fault with. Don't stay here if you must have a tv or if you don't understand that this is a home and not a sound-proof concrete hotel room. Everyone I talked to at breakfast was thrilled with their stay and planned to return. Lots of smiling faces.
Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable. We both slept so well. I was concerned because other reviews said the front rooms got a lot of traffic noise but it did not bother us at all.
Cons: The bathroom was tiny, not even enough room to put our toiletries bag on the counter. The shower did not have a scald protect and seemed very cheaply made.
