Pros: the most amazing cozy place I've ever stayed at. Perfect for a romantic get away. Terry (inn keeper) very friendly and helpful in places to visit in the area. Delicious home cooked breakfast served either in the lovely dining area near the garden or in your room. we did both and was very satisfied with each delicious meal we had. Home cooked fresh cookies available all day in dining area. So good we took one for the road. Beautiful private jacuzzi to relax in. Loved that great bonus to our stay. We will definitely be staying here again as soon as possible. My new favorite place in half moon bay. So comfortable we chose to just stay in a few times to relax in the room instead of going back out.
Cons: I wish I could have stayed longer. So there's really nothing i can say i didn't like.
Pros: The owners were sweet and attentive. Tasty food, accommodating with my food allergies.
Cute dogs onsight, lovely garden.
Cons: I have never been to a B&B that didn't feel like staying with kooky relatives, this place is no exception.
I believe another reviewer said the place was "decorated within an inch of its life" very true.
Pros: The venue was beautiful! The garden was absolutely amazing so peaceful and a wonderful place to just relax for few days. Great location. My suite was amazing, clean, fresh, wine in the fridge, fresh water, jacuzzi...all wonderful! The champagne breakfast...again great!
Cons: Don't expect to arrive early! I contacted the owner to say I would be arriving early (1 hour early); I said I would just be leaving my luggage and just and wander around the town, but when I arrived I was not greeted as a guest, but more like a nuisance - which was not a great start! Then when I asked for a slightly later check out (again 1 hour), I was treated like a nuisance AGAIN!. This treatment tainted what would was a lovely stay, and if it had not been for the owners lovely wife, I would not choose to stay here again!
Pros: Room and venue amazing. Hot tub a lovely touch. Service was exceptional. Liked meeting the owner's poodles too!
Pros: Nice location in town, clean and a beautiful garden. Beautifully decorated. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Bed was too soft. Artificial fragrance was a bit overwhelming.
Pros: The staff, service, experience was perfection.
Pros: Service was incredible
Pros: It was a great q time bed and breakfast. Good food great time
Pros: The proprietors were friendly and engaging and the grounds beautiful.
Pros: The garden is full of pretty flowers. We spent quite a while taking photos there.
Owner's dogs are cute and friendly.
Rooms are filled with antique furniture.
Fireplace is very useful too in the spring to keep the rooms warm.
Towels are thick and soft.
Terry the owner was very kind to have allowed us early check in and late check out. He also offered to book restaurants on our behalf. There are some nice restaurants nearby.
Cons: The breakfast was not impressive at all. There is a slice of quiche and a slice of cake for each person, and some yogurt and fruits, and that was it. No French pastry or crepe was offered. Knowing the quality of the breakfast, we would have dined out instead.
Evening turn down service was not offered.
Cheese platter was offered, no wine or chocolates. There are other complimentary drinks and alcohols available though.
family with older children
Pros: The warm welcome, delightful accommodations and meals, beautiful ambiance, excellent attention by the owners - all in all, one of the loveliest B&Bs we have ever visited!
Cons: Only improvement would be to move the Inn to overlook the bay!
Pros: Walking distance to Shops and restaurants, Beach. 20 min drive to Devil's Slide. Quaint decor, complementary drinks, snacks, wine. Elegant breakfast!
Cons: The shower/tub may need some handles for elderly visitors. But where do you put them? The tub is off the floor , so the step out is a few inches farther than expected.
Pros: Excellent location, very private setting in a charming town.
