The views of the ocean and rugged coast were exactly what we hoped for when booking our ocean view room. The staff were charming, offering us a glass of wine upon arrival. They were very helpful in pointing us to the spa amenities. However they didn't explain there were two different elevators that take you to two different parts of the second floor (it took us a second try and elevator to find our room). If you are a golfer you will love the location and course, which, from a non-golfer perspection, looks gorgeous and challenging. The meals we had at Navio's were outstanding and the sous-chef visited our table after our meal which was a nice touch. Our dinner was one of our most memorable meals ever.
Pros: Stunning ocean views and a superb restaurant.
Cons: The bed didn't measure up to all the other amenties. It was too soft, as were the pillows. also, the elevators were confusing - our room was on the 2nd floor and it turns out two different elevators go to different parts of the 2nd floor.

The views and customer service are definitely the highlights of the hotel.
Pros: The hotel staff was very accommodating.
Cons: The room requested was not available the first night of the stay (requested a King bed for our honeymoon and there were only double bed rooms available).

Relaxing ocean fronted resort hotel
Pros: Great location and great facilities.
Cons: Food could be improved and the table presentation is poor. No place mats, no table cloth, not even in tne evening.

All you need to do...
Pros: The Sunday Brunch is opulent. You would have a hard time dreaming up anything that was not on the menu. Simply fabulous! A treat that can only be appreciated when your diet is completely abandoned and an extra 6000 calories can be squeezed in...Sumptuous and great service...

Beautiful, just bring your wallet.
Pros: The beautiful property and the hotel and all of the available amenities in the property. We golfed the ocean course which was very nice. We did not use the pool, and tennis courts, but there were all close by.
Cons: The fact that we were first given a room with two queen beds when in fact we requested a king sized bed. Also, I did not appreciate paying almost $7 for a greet yogurt I could have bought at the grocery store for $1.50. We chose to eat outside the property because of that. Although the hotel itself is BEAUTIFUL and the cleanliness of the rooms were outstanding, it was a little over the top expensive.
