Bolsa Chica Conservancy Interpretive Center, off the Pacific Coast Hwy. at 3842 Warner Ave., features displays describing the surrounding Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, which contains more than 1,400 acres of restored wetlands. Live reptiles and marine life also are on display. The reserve supports waterfowl such as avocets, egrets, plovers and the endangered California least terns. Trails include a 3-mile round-trip walk from Warner Avenue and a 1.5 mile-loop trail from Pacific Coast Highway.
Bicycles, motorized vehicles and pets are prohibited.
