What a glorious hotel.
Pros: What a place, what a view. Tucked away close by to June Lake. Part of the fun was driving here from San Francisco. Had to stop so often to take photos the scenery was amazing. Staff so helpful and loved relaxing in the spa.

Too snobbish for what it...
Pros: Nice jaccuzzi bathtub (to replace the pool... See dislike above.
Cons: We specifically chose this hotel because it has an indoor pool. Unfortunately they have specific and very short hours for the kids to enjoy the pool - so we paid a lot of money for a nice room but without the pleasure of enjoying the pool. The kids pool hours are not mentioned in Yelp or booking.com. If it had been mentioned, we would have tried to find a different hotel since we were looking for an hotel with a pool where children are allowed. By the way, when we walked near the pool that was still open for adults... Nobody was there so our kids wouldn't have bothered anybody... When we mentioned our disappointment to the evening and morning staff, they were not even apologetic about it. This is a ok hotel but it's a bit snobbish for what it is and for the rural location. I will certainly not recommend this hotel because of the stuck up staff. Even the staff at the restaurant seemed to be a bit stiff. Food was ok but nothing exceptional, again a bit pricey for what it was. Same as the hotel... Trying to be super fancy but nothing to really brag about it.

Beautiful Views
Pros: Beautiful snow capped mountain views. Facilities are very clean. Staff very friendly. Spa and indoor pool very relaxing. 2-br cabin + full kitchen, great value for the money.
Cons: Would have preferred to be closer to the lake, but the short drive was not a big deal. A free breakfast would have been great.
