Pros: This hotel was absolutely beautiful and definitely met my expectation and more. I would only go back to that particular resort, was amazing.
Cons: I didn't like that I couldn't book an other night although your email confirming our trip was sent I couldn't book it.
I know we came up here on a cheap deal but we would come often if you acted with some class. They referenced the $--- room rate we found every time we talked too them. our room was not ready so they were going too call us but they forgot. an hour later we got our room.
Pros: There was a lot of space to walk my daughter around when she was fussy
Cons: the heat in the room did not work so our newborn was cold. The hot tub outside was cold they threatened to fine you $25 if the find a pool towel in your room. that is NOT 4 stars!
Pros: Location, beach area, ,dock, lobby, hot tub, coffee shop
Cons: Room on parking lot but good size; poor service in restaurant for lunch but dinner was okay
Very Poor
The first night we arrived it was warm in the room. It was very late so we turned on the AC and went to bed. At 4am we woke up because it was 85 in the room. We called the front desk and was told they were at 100 percent occupancy and recommended we open our ground level sliding glass door since AC didn't work. The next morning they seemed surprised that we wanted it fixed for the duration of our stay but did get someone to fix it. On our second day our room was cleaned but housekeeping left zero towels. We were able to get more as soon as we requested. On the 3rd day, we went out for the day and came back around 5pm to find that no housekeeping occurred. We called the front desk and they advised that housekeeping had left for the day. We asked for fresh towels and had to call again a few hours later to get them. The hotel ran spa specials but when I tried to book one, I was told they had no openings on the day of the special but could do it the day before or after at full price. When I ask a question about the service, they didn't know the answers because no one had used that service in several months. If that was the case, why. were there no openings? The services I had at the spa were great - Heather and Holly were the best employees that we encountered. On our final morning, we brought up the all issues with the front desk. The executive director implied several times that if housekeeping didn't occur it must have been because we put the sign on the door. When we assured her that wasn't the case (we had checked that ours ourselves) she reiterated that had to have been the case. As an apology, they gave us breakfast certificates, but it was our final day and breakfast had already stopped serving. We gave back the breakfast certificates. I often stay at Marriott properties because they represent great service, but this resort was an exception to that policy.
Pros: The location of the hotel was wonderful. We liked the location so well we added an extra day to our stay. That was before we experienced the resort.
Cons: There were many issues including broken AC, very rude staff, and non-existent housekeeping.
Pros: Location.
Cons: If your room is on the second floor (same level as reception) there is an issue with sound-proofing between you and the 3rd floor above. The thud of feet, of the person / people above us, etc. meant 2 nights without a decent sleep. Unacceptable.
