Chinese American Museum is at 425 N. Los Angeles St. Housed in the historic 1890 Garnier Building, the last surviving building from the original Chinatown, the museum's exhibits are on three levels. Using historic photos and artifacts, the ground-floor exhibit tells the story of Chinese Americans in Los Angeles. The second and third floors present temporary art exhibits, and the first level presents permanent exhibits.
