El Molino Viejo (The Old Mill), 1120 Old Mill Rd. off Oak Knoll Ave., is a former gristmill built around 1816 by Native Americans under the supervision of the padres of the Mission San Gabriel. Surrounded by 2 acres of gardens, the building houses the California Art Club Gallery, historical exhibits and a working model of the mill.
