Watts Towers of Simon Rodia State Historic Park is at 1727 E. 107th St. The park’s centerpiece is the steel-reinforced columns tied with wire, wrapped in wire mesh and covered in concrete embedded with mirrors, seashells, glass, rocks, ceramic tile, pottery and marble. The adjacent Watts Towers Arts Center and Charles Mingus Youth Arts Center provide guided tours of the towers, present rotating exhibitions in three galleries and produce the Annual Watts Towers Day of the Drum Festival and the Simon Rodia Watts Towers Jazz Festival. Both events are held the last weekend in September.

Arts center open Wed.-Sat. 10-4, Sun. noon-4. Guided tours of the towers are offered Thurs.-Sat. 10:30-3, Sun. 12:30-3 (weather permitting). Phone ahead to confirm schedule.
